the autumn suite at domaine des étangs was simply luxurious. we loved the spacious layout, large tv, and the gorgeous bathroom with a fabulous shower. the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was top-notch. the setting was peaceful, perfect for unwinding in nature.
the only downside was that we wished for a few more menu options at the restaurant.

Had a fantastic group getaway! The Castle Library was perfect for lounging with friends, and the Attic had pool tables and fun games. We loved cycling the 11-km trail soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Food was great, especially the homemade bread. Just remember to ask for an omelet at breakfast!
The breakfast room felt understaffed, which made mornings a bit slower than expected.

Absolute gem in the countryside. The grounds are stunning with lakes, woods, and beautiful architecture. My cottage, Le Sabotier, had a charming mix of character and modern amenities. Loved the spacious rooms and the unique glass floor. It felt cozy yet luxurious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay special. I enjoyed cycling the trails and taking out a boat on the lake. Each meal showcased fresh, seasonal ingredients, especially breakfast which was delightful—just remember to ask for an omelet if you want one! However, the main restaurant experience was a bit of a letdown. The menu was limited, and service felt a bit rushed, especially during dinner. We had to wait longer than expected for our drinks. Communication from staff at times could improve, especially regarding dining reservations. I had to ask about dinner availability several times. Small lapses like the slow service in the restaurant can be annoying, but the staff had good intentions and were friendly. I would return, but I hope for better attention to dining details next time.

I had a lovely time enjoying the stunning grounds and the delicious meals, especially at the Michelin-rated restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise. The spa offered a fantastic massage and a serene relaxation area, making it the perfect retreat. One small downside was the noise from nearby renovations, but it didn’t ruin the overall peaceful vibe. 😊

Couples' getaway that’s really good
The setting is just unbelievable. We stayed at this astonishing chateau, everything was renovated with perfect attention to detail. The staff was just excellent, really attentive and always there when you needed something. Plus, the restaurant was Michelin-starred and it lived up to its reputation with every bite being a flavor explosion.
Not the cheapest place by any stretch but worth every single penny.
